12-26-2011, 12:53 PM #61Prep: Hot shower
Brush: Neep, extra stuffed siilvertip
Razor: Puma, Special
Superlather: Muhle cream + Dr Harris Marlborough
AS: Mennen SB
Strops: Neil Miller
Result: Very, very clean
Usually I don't like to use this thin blades, the Joh. Engström was a backup razor, but I never used it. This Puma's one of the few thin razors I've liked, it was a perfect Secret Santa gift

Week of December 25 SOTD - Monday
Pre-Shave: Hot shower Brush: 23mm Shavemac Silvertip Badger Razor: 8/8" Peter J. Michels "C-Mon Blackie", Full Hollow Ground, Spike Point Honing Regimen: Chosera 1k, 2k, 5k, 10k, followed by Kiita/Asagi Hybrid with Botan/Tenjou/Koma/Tomonagura progression Strop: 0/25 laps (Tony Miller Horsehide Heirloom strop) Soapreme: D.R. Harris "Lavender" Shave Creme + D.R. Harris "Lavender" Shave Soap + Glycerin Toner: Thayer's Witch Hazel (Lavender, no alcohol) Moisturizer: Trumper's Fragrance-free Moisturizer After Shave Splash: Floïd Italian Blue AS After Shave Balm: Al Raz "Lavender" ASB Cologne: Acca Kappa "Blue Lavender" EdT Results: After a "No Shave" day yesterday on X-mas day, today's was nothing short of fabulous, especially with this smooth operator from my collection. This monster C-Mon is an unbelievable shaver. She takes (and keeps) on a beautiful edge. Despite her size, she's a very gentle giant. The D.R. Harris Lavender provided an incredibly moist and luxurious lather. And the prep? Simply divine; there's nothing more satisfying that applying a warm lather to a face that is still sweating from the hot shower. The foreplay paid off with the C-Mon delivering a home run shave . What an incredible feeling.
I hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas with their families. Have a FABULOUS Monday gentlemen
