    Pre-Shave: Hot shower
    Brush: Simpson Chubby 1
    Razor: C.V. Heljestrand MK32
Strop: 40/60 Neil Miller Linen/Kanayama Cordovan
    Soap/Cream: Cella
    After shave: Old Spice Original
Results: Got a new Guangxi/C12K yesterday and decided to try it on the MK, gave it a few laps on the SS 8K to make sure I killed the Shapton 16K edge it had before taking it to the Guangxi. First ~50 strokes with slurry, followed by ~50 water only. Happy to say it seems like I've been lucky and got a good one, the feel of the edge was at least as good as from the SS12 of SG 16K Just a single pass multidirection shave (Still a pretty close shave) as I got a Thuri in the mail today that I think I will test tomorrow

I decided to use a DE for a change today. Also shaved my neck and trimmed the hedges.

Pre: Hot shower and Vitos PS
Lather: Erasmic cream + Williams soap + glycerin
    Brush: Omega 10098 long boar
    Razor: American Safety Razor
    Blade: Astra Superior Platinum
PS: alum block + Thayers WH Toner w/Rose water
    PSB: Nivea Sensitive Balm
    AS: AquaVelva
    Hair Tonic: Jeris

I really enjoyed this shave. OUAT I regularly used a DE but for some years I have only shaved the back of my neck with one. The Erasmic/Williams, although not at all spendy, provided a thick, rich lather that really excelled. This was a great combo and the scent was good too. The Jeris topped it all off. I don't have a lot of hair but the smell of Jeris takes me back to the barbershops of my youth.

    ETA Morning shave, evening post.

    Saturday shave:

    Genco 6/8 Pyramid 7
    Badger brush
C&E Sienna SS plus KMF Unscented cream
    Thayer's
    Aqua Velva Blue
    Nivea ASB
    Bigelow Blue cologne

I was in a hurry today, and only pulled off a two pass shave with a bit of irritation on key neck and chin. I probably should have just used a DE today, given the hurry I was in.... Lesson learned.

First time using the Palmolive and it holds up to all the recommendations I've read on this board.
