Thanked: 92 days' growth
Hot shower
Ma Provencal soap (almond)
Tony Miller 3" strop
Honeybee chamomile soap
Proraso boar brush
4/8 EAB Frameback
6/8 Puma 69 rp 1/2 hollow
6/8 Badaud 1/4 hollow (from Joe Chandler)
Lucky Tiger AS Toner
L'Occitane CADE AS balm
Honeybee gave me very mild lather but it wasn't as slick as the one I get from Tabac. I thought I had the 4/8 EAB ready (passing HHTs) but it tugged quite a bit on my cheeks. This would have been a disaster on the neck, so I switched to a heftier and I thought sharper Puma 69. Not quite there either... Feeling irritated, I resorted to my 1/4 hollow Badaud 6/8 barber's notch from Joe Chandler. Oh, the preasure of a sharp razor. Joe is my hero.
Shave was going down but the Badaud saved the day. Zero cuts, just a slight 2 by 2 red area under chin as I got a bit aggressive, 2 nicks (no blood) - not bad for me.
Cheers
Ivo

Today I shaved with The Winner and got a nice lather out of the 1805. BBS and a perverse pleasure of a pre-interview shave

Tonsorial turned out to be great today. Ended up with a very clean shave, followed up with DBR. In all honesty, I'm trying to go through it as soon as possible and switch almost exclusively to Old Spice.

Ivo, I can guarantee you that it won't be good. Satinedges are crappy and Joe doesn't know how to hone. Send it over here for proper disposal

However, I am not crazy about its looks, to be honest. Somehow in person it seems... don't know but not as appealing to me as others. I have 4 other top razors that cost me less than that. If this Duck does not turn out to be the best of them (and it has to compete with an absolutely fabulous Puma, which is worth at least as much) I might actually pass it along. At least several people indicated they might be interested when Iwan offered it for sale...

Ivo, you know which one I'd REALLY be interested in. If you don't like it, make me an offer As for Satinedges.. I have one and it's like a middling in my rotation. Not bad but not one of my favorites either.

Thanked: 346Dovo silvertip brush
Palmolive lather
Feather "Artist Club" with super pro blade
Pinaud Clubman
Last day with the Feather since I'm heading home early tomorrow morning. It's too bad I didn't get a chance to see more of Scotland, but work has priority. Did get some good beer once or twice, though.
