The Hamburg ring is finally shaving the way it's supposed to be. I hope the Sprock will do the same when I shave-test it tomorrow as Dave is coming over to choose his prize and take it lol. The Nomad soap still dries out WAY too quickly.

    Hot Shower
    mamabear pure lavender shaving soap
    Kent BK8 brush
Marshbrothers Pondworks 9/8 wedge (just got it back from Lynn)
    Trumpers coral skin food aftershave
Royall Limes - Royal Muske cologne.

Well, Lynn has absolutely outdone himself this time. As most of you know Lynn does all of my honing for me at the moment, so I am used to his work. When I bought this 9/8 wedge and it was shaveable, but not spectacular, but Lynn really transformed this edge. This wedge is now one of my top 2 or 3 shavers, and it shaves like its nobody's business.

I had a spectacular shave after not shaving all week because I didnt have time to pack a razor and my dopp kit so I decided not to shave all week rather than use anything other than a straight!

Used the DOVO Bismarck (bone, 5/8) and the 1805 cream I got from David (thanks Dave ). Used too much water, too little cream so the lather wasn't as good as I could have made it, but the scent was amazing. I'll experiment with the ratios tomorrow as well.
