Hello Joe,
Yes, the Lagerfeld Classic is a delight. I have a little bit left in the bottle and try to savor it. Good stuff.

Pre-Shave: Hot towels Brush: Simpson Chubby 1 Razor: Brian Brown 8/8 Strop: 40/60 Neil Miller Linen/Kanayama Cordovan Soap: Palmolive Stick After shave: Aqua Velva Results: Having a fever, running nose and a terrible headache the last few days I haven't had the energy for shaving. Feeling a bit better today, and with four days of growth in serious need of a shave, the heavy BB cut down the beard smooth and easily, two slow comfortable passes gave a perfect BBS and made me feel even better.

Good evening friends!
Shave prep: Face wash
Brush: Haryali badger
Soap: Crabtree & Evelyn, Nomad
Scuttle: Robert Becker large
Razor: John Barber, 5/8 wedge, touched up on a welsh dark green/grey black slate.
Strop: nun2sharp's hanging leather strop
After Shave Splash: English leather, home brewed
Notes: English leather, fit for a king. Well, made for a king, in fact. Tonight's shave would be as well, I am sure. I absolutely love this razor, shaves like a dream, and it probably would have been available under the reign of the same king (he held the throne till 1820). 1 comfortable pass to BBS.
Midweek already, good stuff. Keep up the postings, love seeing them!

Prep Hot shower and lather pre-shave
Soap VDH, Glyc & Baby Oil
Razor Wade & Butcher BOW razor
Brush VDH boar Brush
Mug(s) VDH Mug and "Pick Me Up" Big mug
AS Wild Country
Back up Razor Twinworks Henckels
Today I switched some things around, First off I used My W&B Bow and had the Twin as Back up. I also added a few drops of Baby oil to My Lather and it came out nice. I did use a candle warmer for the heat not the burner in the pic. I need to find a small dish to hold some water and either My small or Big Mug in. I might even go over to the antique store(s) and see what I can find..
Note: To the nubies, This shave took Me 45minutes, Yes I know most do take that long and some may even take longer.. The Point is, Going Slow makes the Shave of the day feel So Much Better...

Thanked: 498Prep: Hot Shower, Musgo Real Glyce Lime Oil Soap
Strop: Lipshaw Microtome
Brush: Vulfix Badger
Soap/Cream: No named English shaving soap
Razor: Thiers Issard 7/8" Le Thiernois
Aftershave: Clubman
Note: The shave went real well, but I always have trouble stropping this blade. With its smooth slick burl wood the highly polished tang and the deep thumb notch it constantly wants to spin in my hand when I flip the blade during stroping. I really have to concentrate and slow my stropping.
