Thumbs up Sun February 12th - Sat February 18th

    Location: 36° 0'5"N - 115° 15' 21"W
Razor: Wade & Butcher 'Celebrated Extra Hollow Ground'
    Brush: Simpson Chubby 2 - 2 band
    Soap: Tabac
    Astringent: Thayers Witch Hazel
    AS: Tabac

For this shave I picked my favorite Wade & Butcher which is exactly like I love my grinds, extra hollow with that nice singing sound when you strop. My whiskers are always in fear when they notice that razor on the sink. It gives me an incredible shave, time after time and it never disappoints. Same goes with my Tabac goodies.

Wishing y'all a great new SOTD

    Default Dutch Rattler

    Good day gentlemen!

Todays shave was briliant - managed to go ATG on around 90% of my face, something I dont often manage with any razor. I guess the whiskers couldn't be bothered fighting the Dutch Rattler! (can you blame them )

Some great news this morning too - Julie from Dirty Bird Pottery has finished my 1.5 scuttle ahead of schedule and will be sending it early this week! cant wait to try it out (and retire the oh-so-common 'mugs').

Today the 10/8 JR Dutch Rattler was paired with my SRD Premium I, Proraso pre-shave cream, my Thater Olive, Body Shop Macca Root shave cream and Thayers astringent. Finished the session with a spritz of Diesel 'Only The Brave' EDT - a great scent trapped in a stupid bottle

All the best in your endevours this week! EF

    Razor: Bengall 6/8
    Toner: Thayer's Lemon Witch Hazel

    A/S: Aqua Velva
On a hot Summer afternoon the wife, kids and I went for a swim at the local beach. Followed by an early dinner of fish and chips with lemon juice.
The lemon juice planted the seed in my mind and I had to pull out the TOBS Lemon & Lime for tonights shave (sample from Rene).
It is definitely on top of the must have list, I just love the smell of this stuff.
The Bengall, did an amazing job on what must have been 4 days worth of growth. 2 passes and I'm BBS.
A fantastic way to begin the SOTD week

    Good morning friends!

It's a nice sunny sunday morning here in Oslo.

    Shave prep: Face wash
    Brush: Fonex boar
    Soap: Mitchell's Wool Fat
    Scuttle: Robert Becker large
Razor: Rostok C 70, 4/8 hollow ground round point
    Strop: nun2sharp's hanging leather strop
After Shave Splash: Fougere home made splash
Notes: Brilliant suds today, as you'd expect from MWF. Razor is small, but handles very well, and sports a crisp and smooth edge. I'd call this shave "1 pass with touch-up in spots".
