As I must echo as mjsorkin, not a great shave tonight.
I was so looking forward to this shave too!!
Razor: 6/8 Robeson's Best followed my 4/8 Friodur
Brush: 26mm Silvertip
Soap: RazoRock XXX + RazoRock Cacao blend
AS: Dominican Bay Rum (Did not like it either)
EdT: OBR Limes and Peppercorns
I honed this razor yesterday, and I really thought it was going to be a good shave, but it wasn't. A lot of irritation and after the first pass I switched to the Friodur which nicknbleeding had honed for me. Compared to my blade, that friodur was pure bliss. Buttery smooth and removed the stubble with absolute ease. But, it was too late. I used it for my XTG pass and called it good. I have a feeling I will suffer in the coming 24 hours!!
