    Pre-Shave: Hot shower
    Brush: Semogue 750
    Razor: 5/8 Puma
Strop: 40/60 Neil Miller Linen/English Bridle
    Soap/Cream: RazoRock XXX
After shave: Str8fencer's Rhòmme (Correct me if that is wrong Sten)
Results: Honed this this one for a newbie having some problems, it took a quite nice edge, just lacking a little bit on the comfort side to my liking so I'll give it a little more work to tune that in, but nice and sharp, gave me my first cut in months a nice little slice on the chin.

    A bit narcissistic today....

That poor Globusmen have seen a lot of water and hones the last 10 days, it's due for a little Autosol cleanup.

Default 2 more test shaves done!!

Prep: Hot Shower / Very Hot Water Soak /Barbasol lather left on during shower
Razor: 5/8 Cosmo Silver Steel, 6/8 Ontario Cutlery
Hones: King 1k, Norton 4/8k, 300 laps CNat 12k, 5 laps diamond paddle, 10 Laps CrOx Paddle, 100 Clean Felt, 300 Leather
    Brush: 24mm Silvertip
Uber: Rise Baby Face Shave Gel, Tobs Sandalwood
AS: Alum Block & Pinaud Lilac Vegetal
    Edc: Brute
Result: Honed these razors Saturday in a 4 razor marathon. The Cosmo is a very light razor, being silver steel and the Ontario is a lot stouter. I did right side Cosmo, left side Ontario. Both performed admirably, but the Ontario was a slight better edge. I will take the Cosmo back to the CNat tonight for more laps to see if I can improve that. I've taken to using the Rise Gel as a pre-shave lubricant and it works very well for me. Also I thought I would try the Lilac Vegetal again since the first time I used it I swore it smelled of Urinal Cakes. Today I had a little better opinion of it. Perhaps it will grow on me if I use it often enough. I'll let SWMBO be the judge when she gets home. All in all, it was darn near BBS today, first time I didn't feel the need for a touch up with my Fat Boy. I hardly ever do a touch up, but the thought is usually there. No nick or weepers and the ATG left me feeling really close and smooth. Excellent shave!

    Monday Night

No Picture as this week my setup will be the same all week so just the same as Sunday's pic.

Gold Dollar 66, Vie Long Brush, Tabac Stick, Alum, Old Spice Whitewater

Since honing this is shave #3 with this cheapest of the cheap blade. Still very sharp and smooth and giving a close, comfortable shave. Of anything that let me down tonight it was the Tabac. The lather was drying on my face faster than normal. Odd but didn't effect the shave much.
    Regards
    Nic

    Omega,
My heart goes out to you and your family. Beautiful razor and stones, I'm so glad that they gave you some comfort in this time.

    Monday 4:30am

Face wash, Stephan Cream, Direct water spray
    Simpson w Nomad
    Dovo Strop 20 linen/about60 leather
    JR Torrey Extra Hollow Ground
Thayer's Lemon, Boatload of Weleda AS, Nivea Replenishing ASB

This razor was my best work on 8k so far. Now I'm getting to the point where I can tell the difference between an 8k shave and a 12k shave. So I might try to hit the 12k with this razor and refine the edge a little. Good shave, close, quick, and relatively comfortable in one pass before work. The Weleda is really growing on me. I love all the alcohol and Myrrh when I throw this on. I just splash on a ton of it, feel the sting, and take a deep breath.......aaaahhhh!
