    Razor – Veritable P. Fritisse
    Brush – Simpson Chubby#2
    Soap – ARKO sensitive
    AST – ALUM
AS – Ogallala Bay Rum w/ Sandalwood

Here is a beautiful French number I just finished. This one has the safety catch to keep the razor locked down. This would be helpful if you had kids running around. I used 1 layer of 33+ tape to protect the appealing lines of the shoulder-less grinds during honing..The edge was final finished on a French oil stone. Like most French razors, the shave was very smooth. Have a great week gentlemen.

Good Day Gentlemen. Been a while since I posted anything but im back and hope to get back to sharing regularly again. Todays shave was particularly important to me . I lost my Dad yesterday after a long and painful battle with M.S..He is now out of pain and with my mother again. To take my focus off things ,if only for a bit I grabbed a Temperite that I had never honed and took it to the stones. With my dad (who did not use a straight but was proud that I had taken to it) looking over my shoulder I attained the velvet squeegee edge that some of us have experienced. This was the most satisfying moment in my straight razor history and it resulted in a Kick ass BBS smooth shave! I wont be shaving again till the funeral and I think I wil use the same razor. And so gentelmen I give you the the Jeffrey Jones memorial Hone & shave...
