    Vaseline for men.

Picked this razor up from Rene last time we met. He told me he put a nice edge on it for me, he was correct. The edge was buttery smooth and wiped away the whiskers with no problem.

The revolver is a 1982 Smith and Wesson Chief's Special Model 60. It is a model 36 only in stainless steel. When in use, it was loaded with .38 caliber 125 gr. +P Nyclad ammo. It spent many years (22) on my ankle as a second/back-up gun and many years on my ankle while off duty. One day I was off duty and had the little S&W on my ankle while walking in a mall parking lot with my wife and daughter. As we were walking in the parking aisle some bozo decided to drive like an ass and nearly hit us. Needless to say I was not happy but my wife convinced me to continue walking away to avoid trouble. I agreed since I was with my wife and baby but we walked away he began to berate us and then yelled something to the effect that he was going to teach me a lesson. I really had no idea why he was angry at us since he almost ran us over but after hearing those words told my wife to take the baby and leave quickly. I stepped towards him as he sat in the car and began to pull up my pants leg to get to the revolver and looked into his car. Much to my shock he had a Browning 9mm High-Power in his hand. I drew the little S&W from my ankle and after a 2-3 second interaction with him, I had two guns, he had none, neither of which had been fired. After several hours at the hospital (he needed medical attention) and doing paper work, the day finally ended.
The good news was the little Chief was there for me when I needed it. After that day, I never wore it on my ankle again unless it was for back-up purposes while working. Always on the belt from then until this day. One of my favorites to this day.

    Enjoy the day

Omega, I join with the band of brothers here in passing on my condolences on your loss. My mother suffers from M.S., so I understand what you've been through. You will be in my thoughts!

My deepest condolances, may he rest in peace. And what a nice shave to commemorate him as well.

Brethren. I apologize for not responding to each of you individually but thank you all very much for your kind words and prayers. I take great comfort in knowing that you , my mentors and brothers in wet shaving are here for me and my family. While we have not met face to face, our shared experiences , good and bad, make that fact seem just a technicality. Thank You again

    Sunday Night

    Gold Dollar 66
    Tabac Stick
    Vie Long Badger/Horse Mix
    Alum
    Old Spice Whitewater

I'm intending shaving with this razor for a week to see if the edge goes off more quickly than more expensive razors. Generally I find that after 7 shaves a razor benefits from a touch up so far this is the 2nd shave with it and it was smooth and comfortable.
    Regards
    Nic
