Toyo Spezial | Semogue 2010 LE | MWF + GFT Lime Über | Nivea Replenishing

Another incredible shave. This razor is such a dream, and the MWF/GFT lather was as rich and luxurious as they come. To really make the über that much more übery, the lime scent was giving me a fresh clean feeling that worked so well!

We all survived another work week! Enjoy the weekend, gentlemen, you deserve the break!

    Friday
Prep: Hot Shower/ Proraso pre-post creme
    Scuttle: G5
    Brush: Thater 4125-2
    Soap: L'Occitane CADE
    Razor: Wade & Butcher 13/16"
    Post: Proraso AS/ CADE Balm
Result: Yet another blade fresh off the 12k Naniwa. The first stroke of the shave, I knew this was going for the books! Felt like you were taking a wash cloth and just wiping the lather off your face. Yup, that smooth! The CADE line up had me smelling good, the weather is warm again, and I walk out the door to greet the day feeling like a king!

Prep: An inadequate night's sleep and a ridiculously hot shower
    Razor: C.V. Heljestrand Mk4
    Brush: VDH Boar
    Soap: TSD Iced Sub-Zero
    AS: Aqua Velva Classic
    Finish: La Toja Manantiales EdC

After a couple days of satisfactory but just not very remarkable shaves, the Heljy was the perfect call to snap me out of my stupor. This razor just never seems to fail at delivering absolutely amazing shaves.

Well the first shave with the Fon Golden Star razor since i honed and stropped the razor, she delivered a flawless one pass shave with minor touch up, I would like to say thanks to Rene for pointing me in the right direction, making it possible for me to buy this beautiful razor.

    Razor – Geneva Henry's X 9/16
Brush – Omega... really should find out what model I have.
    Soap – T&F Lime
    AS – Ogalalla Bay Rum

The Geneva is a find off of Razor Emporium that I've become quite entusiastic over. Bone scales, some pitting, including some quite close to the edge, but overall isn't in bad shape. First honing as well, and it's performed admirably, with nary a case of even the mildest razor burn or AS face-fire since it made the line-up. Makes me look forward to more "restorations razors".

Sadly, T&H's Lime is not my particular brand of vodka. Sure, it lathers with typical T&H aplomb, but the scent struck me as the plastic wrapper of a piece of sour lime candy. Couldn't finish it off fast enough.

As always, YMMV, but I won't be your competition for this one should there be a global shortage.
