Now, if we could just get Bill to quit running Robert off, we would have a very entertaining combination.
Crazy? What are you saying? I'm dead serious. I feel that I would rather appreciate your support than your 'labelling', thank you very much... We all have issues you know. I think I might need a support person from The Straightrazorplace.com Forum Posters Assistance Program to be present during this conversation if you're going to get personal...

The razor came with cracked scales, some rust, and a blade so dull I couldn't cut warm butter with it (I really tried, just to level-set my honing). I purchased another cheap razor (it had chips in the blade, but the scales were near perfect) for $4 at an antique store. I unpinned the Rodgers, cleaned up the blade, re-pinned with the the $4 scales and honed my little heart out (Naniwa Superstones - 2K, 5K, 8K and 12K) finished with Crox on an Illinois Russian Strop and shaved with it today for the first time. Incredible BBS shave!...
Oh wow. You're like the Rain Man of newbies! Not only excellent refurbishing and honing skills, but also sound financial and business skills.
    Are you a 'ring in'?

    Just jokes. Welcome!

    Friday

A DE day today, as Friday remains allocated straight razor free. It’s nice to be able to get a really completely smooth shave by being able to get all hairs absolutely AGT, regardless of the angle they grow at. Those few on my neck prove to be a challenge.

I made an excellent lather out of the Faulding ‘Shave’ cream. A tip for those few who may use this cream; add water at about ½ the rate you would for some other creams.

I remain obsessed with ‘Whisky’ Eau de Toilette…

    Razor: Mühle R 89
    Pre-Shave: ‘Sukin’ facial moisturiser
    Cream: Faulding ‘Shave’
AS: Proraso Liquid Cream After Shave
Eau de Toilette: ‘Whisky’ by Evaflor
