Thanked: 88No pic today, but:
Razor: Weishi 9306
Blade: Crystal / Israeli Personna
Prep: Bald Frog Eucalyptus Balm
Brush: VDH boar
Soap: Bald Frog Arabian Hooka
A/S: Nivea for Men Balm
Result: A great shave
I hadn't set out to buy another Chinese DE, but added one for free on Amazon the other day ($5 more merchandise to get $5 worth of free shipping), so I'll soon have a Concord as well. The Weishi has provided a nice, mild shave so far, so hopefully the Concord will, too (I think it's a Tech copy). I like to use a mild DE when I'm hurring in the morning or as an alternative to a two-pass shave on work mornings when there isn't much growth yet from a prior day's shave. Both were the case today.

07-05-2012, 03:25 PM #124Razor: Rolls Razor
Brush: Rooney Pure Badger
Cream: T&H West Indian Limes/Palmolive Lemon super lather
AS: Thayers Lavender and Brut Attitude
Result: I've been without power since Friday and don't expect it to be back on until tomorrow at the earliest. I have cell access though, but can't figure out how to insert a pic using my phone. The Rolls performed great and the super lather of the lemon and lime was refreshing. True three pass BBS.

Shave prep: Face wash
Brush: Omega boar
Soap: Tabac Original
Scuttle: Robert Becker large
Razor: Unknown british blade, 6/8 smiling wedge
Strop: nun2sharp's hanging leather strop
After Shave Splash: Lavender Spice home made splash
Notes: I had a brilliant shave this afternoon. I usually do, but today all things just seemed a little better than normal. Perhaps the lather was a little warmer than usual, the razor was fresh off my Oozuku, both sharp and smooth as can be, and the splash was a fine finish to my man-time. Or perhaps it is just vacation mode hitting me, and I have more time to enjoy the every day life Either way, it was brilliant. Enjoy your days, Gentlemen!
