Thanks Max, I sure plan to

Yeah, I see no point in spending lots of money on something and don't care for it.

Beautiful scenery. Almost makes one take his eyes off the scary face filleting razor.

    Prep: Hot shower
    SS: Proraso “Sapone Da Barba
Brush: Omega #81569 – Modern Beehive “Two Banded Boar”
Razor: Muhle R41 w/ Astra “Superior Platinum” blade
Toner: Thayers “Original” Witch Hazel w/ Aloe Vera
    ASB: Proraso “Creama Dopobarba”
    AS: Proraso “Dopobarba”
    Result: VERY close, refreshing shave…

Wowzers! Bill and other wet shavers certainly aren’t kidding about the aggressiveness of this DE razor.
The R41 will give you the closest shave possible, short of removing the epidermal layer of the skin on
    your face. Shave with care.

Pre: Hot Towel followed by AOS Sandalwood pre shave oil
Brush: Custom by Deighaingeal, Knot by G.N.
    Soap: MDC
    Scuttle: Dirty Bird Custom Double
Razor: Wade and Butcher restored/rescaled by Alex Jacques aka Philadelph (notice the double jimps on the tang)
Post: Razorock Alum, rinse followed by Thayer's Witch Hazel, Rose
ASB: Zen for Men, Fig Leaf and Lime

Notes: This razor was restored and rescaled for me by Alex Jacques long before he started forging his own blades. Alex has a style all his own. Notice the double jimps on the tang on the Wade and Butcher. I don't think I've ever seen one with double jimps before. Alex also did an outstanding job on the scales. I think it's about 5 years old. I just touched it up with my Shoubudani and Nagura progression.

Just a great shave for a Sunday afternoon.

    Yes, That's a mint Y/G Escher.
