    Prep: Hot shower
    Brush: SOC 2b
Razor: Joseph Rodgers "The Norfolk razor"
    Soap+AS: La Toja Manantiales
    Strops: Neil Miller
    Result: Very, very clean

What a nice razor! First shave with it and very close to "uberclean" (purest and highest level in the shaving nirvana book). Nice gear from La Toja too, the AS is new as well and was very nice too, indeed.

    Now you're just bragging!!!!!!

But for the Penalty Shoot Out loss to Italy you could have gone for something from England!

Woulda, shoulda, coulda... While you are correct, and I would have been happy to do so, I constrained myself to what actually took place... Of course, you'll not hear me complain about using Villoresi's vetiver!!!

Yeah, I do like the actual result from the soap. I'll maybe take a photo of it on my face before and after stropping??? As still think I may be spoilt from a year of using pretty much only creams, apart from Proraso.

I had an awesome shave today! No nicks, very little irritation, and a BBS result! I am definitely improving with my straight razors. Although, i still find it difficult to navigate my neck. So I do a final pass with a safety razor.

I'm using my Red Tip, Clauss USMC 6/8, and Man Cave Soap Works "Mountain Man" soap.

    Cool shower, Warm oil
    Dirty Bird Scuttle
    Taylor's Lemon Lime Shave Cream
    Custom Badger Brush by Tim
Bob Allman Custom, 8/8, Full Hollow, Bone Scales dyed Ox blood.
    SRD P1 Strop, 100 Laps
    Razorock Aluminum
    Stephan's Island Lime AS
    Vaseline for men.

This is only the second or third time I used this razor, most likely second. The edge is superb and for a big blade it sings a bit nicely. The brush was made by Tim (Tumtatty) and is the third one I have from him. The craftsmanship is wonderful and the badger bloomed really well. If you get a chance to buy one from him, I highly recommend it.

    Nice shave tonight. Enjoy!!

    Pre: Hot shower
    Cream: C. O. Bigelow
    Brush: VDH Boar
    Razor: DD Goldedge
    Post: Thayer's Lavender Witch Hazel

Excellent shave. The Duck performed admirably and the Bigelow's whipped up nice and fluffy. As always, the Thayers was refreshing!
