    Razor: Concord DE
Blade: Gillette 7 O'clock Sharp Edge (Yellow Pack)
    Prep: Bald Frog Eucalyptus Balm
    Brush: Vie-Long 12705
    Soap: Bald Frog Arabian Hooka
    A/S: Joop Homme
    Result: A great shave

This was the first time I've used this brush (besides cleaning and break-in) and I really like it. Not floppy in the least, but very soft on my face. It lathers the Bald Frog soap easily. I also see why Obie and others recommend this blade. This was the best shave I've gotten from a DE.

I hope all is well Carl. Also, now that you have me thinking about it. I sometimes put some tea tree oil mixed with the aloe. Not sure if that happened with the Dovo in question. But something did it.

    Thursday Morning
    -------------------
    Prep: Hot Shower
Refreshment: Freshly brewed Trader Joe's Kona coffee
    Lather: Gillette Foamy, Unscented
    Razor: Dovo #41 Stainless Pearlex
Strop: A few dozen laps on my Illinois #361 to kick up the shaving edge "goodness"
    After Shave: AOS Balm, Unscented
    Result: Silky Smooth

A relaxed, once over WTG pass using plenty of blade angle (around 30 - 35 degrees) and straight strokes with a feather-touch amount of pressure against my skin. (That is, no pressure at all.) I find that by doing this I don't have to do multiple passes and still get a very smooth shave - darn near BBS - with no irritation.

Have a peaceful, day (or evening) Gentlemen!
