Razor: Red Imp 133, Weishi 9306
    Blade: Super Max Super Platinum
    Prep: Bald Frog Eucalyptus Balm
    Brush: VDH boar
    Soap: Bald Frog Arabian Hooka
    A/S: witch hazel, Joop Homme
Result: DFS, thanks to the DE

The edge on the Red Imp wasn't ready. I've been trying to avoid honing mange lately, and apparently my other tests aren't up to par yet. This razor will go back to the hones.

I usually only do 2 passes when I do a DE head shave, but I had so much lather tonight that I went for 3 passes.
Closest to BBS I've ever achieved on the head. Shiny as a cue ball.

Wednesday: The Palmolive arrived in the mail yesterday...just in time for today's shave!

    Hot shower
    Dovo Best 6/8
    20/60 laps on Illinois 127
Palmolive cream, whipped with Conk badger
    Lucky Tiger mentholated disappearing cream
    Brut cologne

After reading the thread about favorite "cheap" soaps/creams, I ordered three tubes of cream: Tabac, Arko and Palmolive. I think the latter is my favorite of the three. A unique scent that endures, and it yields abundant lather with a luscious, creamy texture. I wanted to re-lather again after the shave was finished!

    Cheers!

You realize you're going to have to take that to your hones now, right?
