Default Week of August 5 SOTD _ Thursday

    Pre-Shave: Hot shower
Brush: 26mm Custom Shavemac D01 Silvertip Badger
Razor: 7/8" Leresche "Le Lumineux", Fra, Barber's Notch (w/ Forest Green G10 scales)
Honing (Refresh): 3 (light) laps on 0.3µ CrOx on leather
Strop: 5/25/60 laps (Torolf Linen / SRD Premium IV English Bridle leather / Ambrose Horsehide Clsico leather)
Soapreme: James Bronnley "Gentlemens" Shave Creme + Cella Shave Soap + Glycerin + 1 drop of liq. Lanolin
    Astringent: Thayer's Original Witch Hazel
After Shave Splash: James Bronnley "Gentlemens" AS
After Shave Balm: James Bronnley "Gentlemens" ASB
    Cologne: James Bronnley "Gentlemens" EdT
Results: A FABULOUS shave with the Leresche today. She hadn't seen much action as of late, but a few minor laps around the CrOx refreshed the edge to near perfection. The James Bronnley lineup was a delight to use as well. The lather was abundant and marvelously moisturizing. My face is BBS and I am ready to tackle one busy (not to mention scorcher and HOT) day ahead.

Wishing you a TERRIFIC Thursday gentlemen .

    Cheers,
    Robert

Wow, nice pic Robert! I am amazed at the depth of the field, not sure I am putting that right. But the focus at one point and the clarity of the image is spectacular my friend!

Robert, the JabonMan soaps are absolutely superb. I would rate them the highest of all the Artisan soaps I have tried so far, and that includes RazoRock, Mike's Natural and Mystic water. Manuel, the maker, has a range of scents you have to smell to believe. I have 3 already with another 3 en route from Spain at this moment. YOU NEED HIS SOAPS!!!! Manuel is planning a website in the near future, but for the time being you order through email. He will give you a list of scents and prices that are very reasonable for the quality. Manuel's email address is: [email protected]

That's very good to know buddy. Thanks...I just connected with Manuel and ordered two soaps

As to MNS or Mystic water...I never grew to like either all that much. MNS performed much better than Mystic for me. I would rate them as follows (compared to MdC, say)

    MdC: 9 - 10
    MNS: 6.5
    Mystic: 4.5

    Cheers,
    Robert

Which two did you go with, Robert? I've got his vetiver/mandarin/litsea cubea and his minty lime and Haitian vetiver are inbound...
