Late to the game with no photo! Awesome job to-day, Men!
I went to a 15/16 Bengall this morning after a app of vitamin E oil last nite. The Bengall has just been freshened up a bit and put through a stropping regimen of 3 different Neil Miller leathers. This blade is remarkable. Thinly ground, a true "fine, fine one"! Poraso uber-lathered on top of a William's puck, stirred by my current favorite, a long-handled Weyer reknotted 2 band. Followed by Afta/AQV.
It has been 9 hrs. NOTHING felt as rubbing WTG!
A remarkable shave! The Best!
May everyone's week be filled with Blessings!

It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

Geo. F. Trumper Eucris Shave Soap-Pipe Razor-Semogue 830 Brush-Lucky Tiger Aftershave
Not the best shave over today, however, I finally found a wedge razor this weekend. I went to see my brother and stopped at a store. Low and behold a Pipe Razor sat all snug in a a display box. I do not have it dialed in right, I think.
I have never honed a wedge razor before, nor one with a smile. No, I should say that this one has a huge grin, an evil grin, like some James Bond villain. It did leave my neck a little irritated. Though every where else was smooth and comfortable.
Another first for me was the Trumper soap. First time I have used this well regarded brand. It was not a let down. Though I still think MWF is better, just my two cents which after the exchange rate comes out to 1/100 of a penny in SRP currency.
My brother was also the recipient of a Gillette DE and some other products. Hopefully he will get the bug too.

Nice setup Tom! I can see you've got a Max Sprecher razor there (and a lovely one, by the looks of it), but what's the other one? Is it for shaving your legs or maybe arm pits??

08-20-2012, 08:05 AM #40Prep: Shower
Brush: Polo 8 by Simpson
Razor: Friodur
Cream: Castle Forbes, Limes
AS: Alcolado Glacial
Strops: Neil Miller
Result: Very, very clean
Ahh - what a lovely shave and shower after 12 hrs of sweating out what ever's in my system (need some time more to recover, but boy does it feel much better). The Alcolado Glacial was very refreshing as well. I've been looking for a large vintage Friodur for some time and I finally found one in good nick (in Japan ) and with a lovely thin hollow ground grind. I could tell already when I was setting the bevel it was going to take a great edge (you can tap/pop hair right off it)
