Default Week of August 19 SOTD - Monday

    Pre-Shave: Hot shower
    Brush: 24mm Shavemac Silvertip Badger
Maxterpiece: 7/8" J.A. Henckels #19, 1/2 Hollow Ground (loose grind), Spike Point (w/ G10 Lime Green Scales)
Honing (Refresh): 30 laps w/ slurry on La Petite Blanche Coticule + 30 laps on Maruka Asagi w/ slurry dilution
Strop: 0/5/5 laps (Torolf Linen / SRD Premium IV English Bridle leather / Ambrose Horsehide Cląsico leather)
Soapreme: Proraso "Eucalyptus + Menthol" Shave Creme + Mike's Natural Soap "Unscented" Shave Soap + Glycerin + 1 drop of liq. Lanolin
    Astringent: Thayer's Original Witch Hazel
    After Shave Splash: Proraso AS
After Shave Balm: Geo Trumper's Moisturizing Lotion
    Cologne: None
Results: Eagerly awaiting the arrival of my two Jabonman soaps sometime in the next couple of days (hopefully). Meanwhile, I went Proraso today. I do love the Eucalyptus scent...very refreshing on a hot day. I am beginning to get a very good result out of MNS. The Shavemac made mounds of this wholeness to goodness magic mix that was in the bowl. The Henckels was refreshed on the hones last night (a very relaxing and zen exercise for me). Another BBS day and ready for a meeting in the evening with Adam Draper, a famous Silicon Valley Venture Capitalist.

Have an INCREDIBLE start of the week gentlemen .

    Cheers,
    Robert

This was my best shave yet! This was my first time to use an extra hollow razor. Oh how it speaks when it is removing the stubble. My Wife said she could hear it , and I had the baathroom door closed. It was velvety smooth, I love Henckels razors.

4 days worth of stubble. 4 passes 2 WTG 2 ATG there was no irritation, no sting from the AS, no pull or tugging.

A DFS to start a new week! I could not be happier!

Thanks Joe. It was truly green in every regard. I almost forgot how many razors I had. This and her twin (Henckels #17 in G10 hunter orange) are amongst my wife's favorites.

Yeah, gotta love those Henckels! My son gave me one, not huge but a great shaver and in Ivory scales, beautiful old piece.
