My understanding is that they send a towellette moistened with the EdT so that you can get a sample wearing of the scent.

    SOTD August 29th 2012
    Hot shower prep
Razor: Rodgers in vory #6 Norfolk St. Sheffield ~1837 or later
    Soap: P-160
    Mug: Old Glass and Brass
    Brush: Home made Silvertip
    Aftershock: Alum block
    Splash: Royal

A simple shave today. Close and smooth in three from the near wedge blade.

This is the time of year when i seem to have the most trouble with getting the lather right. Too thick or too thin but seldom correct!
The fun of trying things makes the day go a bit better and quicker!

    Prep: Hot Shower
    Razor: 6/8 Dubl Duck
    Strop: Illinios 827
    Cream: Spencer & Devon Sagebrush
    Brush: AOS Fine Badger
    A/S: Pinaud
Result: This is the only razor of my seven that I did not hone. I purchased it recently from vintagebladesllc.com. The vendor represents it was honed by Lynn, so, as expected, the edge was and remains perfect. Excellent shave, now back to work. Have a wonderful day.
