High-class shave today with lovely accessories from my friend, Darl (Tarkus). Thanks!
The Musgo Real is a bit stiff for me, but is one of those which is more to my liking with an AQV "thinning"!
This Rodgers is one of my smoothest blades and the Pre de Provence, what can I say!

Have a healthy and splendid week, All! And, of course, a Happy Anniversary, Robert!

Oh! Perhaps some of my SOTD brethren could vote on a brush contest and compete?

Some razors (english, french and german, a real "conférence internationale ") that I restored during this WE, some had big chips, other just required a regular service, they have all pasted the "shave test" succesfully, sorry for the picture (a bit ashamed of the quality due to the lack of light)

    Regards

du212, you'd love Pittsburgh's three rivers for carp, as fishermen rarely target them here. We frequently see fish over a meter long.
I guess that you are right, I fish the carp from my university years, I started with bait, but when I switch to fly fishing I focused my fishing day trips to the trout and I forgot the carps.

This year I am trying to catch barbels and carps, that are bigger than the trouts in my region and easier to find....But they are not as the carps of Pittsburgh, I must be quiet and stealthy in the river or the fish run as Forrest Gump.

I flyfished for carp in a little campus town once, and people watching from riverside cafes made jokes at me until I hooked one up. It took ten minutes on a six-weight to land one. After that they watched with more interest and less joking.
