Nice blade, I modified the scales slightly, but of course they didn't hold. Took a very nice edge though, but really need new scales now (she's worth it, I think).

Thanked: 485Saturday
I don't very much post a Saturday shave, because the traffic on SOTD is low; everyone's doing much more worthwhile things than Shave Of The Daying...
My day was spent buying a car for the wiff, a cheapy to get us by. We got a little tiny '93 Holden Barina without power steering. I like it, very good I think for a rally car. At least now the wiff can earn an income.
No car = no income.
Then again, I could always be eating grass like the North Koreans. I think one should accept woes into one's life almost willingly at times. But that may be easy for me to say. I don't know; I don't know your experience. I was talking to someone the other day (a prisoner in fact) about One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich by Solzhenitsyn. One needs to compare one's experience with one's perceived experience of another and weigh them on the scales. How do they compare? Better, or worse? Better, or worse? Like that optometrist's unceasing grilling that they do...
The shave was excellent. I really like the Burrell. It's pictured resting on a book of poems by Tennyson; from 1878. I'm reading a lot of Tennyson lately, and listening to Walt Whitman (audio book).
The shave cream was O Melhor Orange Amber, not bad, but I wouldn't rave about it...
After shave care was Madame Scodioli 'Step Right Up' after shave...
Stranger, if you passing meet me and desire to speak to me, why should you not speak to me? And why should I not speak to you?
Walt Whitman

I dream of a world where a chicken can cross a road without having it's motives questioned.
