JUST DUCKY!!! Been a crazy busy week. Moved my office last weekend, was "on-call" 4 of the last 5 days, and have been sick with the crude. I've got a busy day in the OR, but it's going to be a GREAT day! Started out with a fantastic shave. The Goldenedge never disappoints. I love "theme" shaves, and the restored DD brush (a gift from a very special patient) is just a delight. The RR XXX also produces a great lather. The Pinaud Vanilla combines quite nicely. Overall, it was a fantastic 2 pass shave.

Friday:
Wash face with lots of hot water
Strop Dovo #41 on Illinois 361 leather
Smooth on some Aveda non-lathering shave cream (older version)
One pass with generous blade angle, without regard to grain direction
Rinse thoroughly with warm water; gently pat dry with hand towel
Massage three squirts of Art of Shaving unscented balm
Admire smooth face and handsome visage
Head out to work
