Prep - Hot Towel, Palmolive S/S
    Razor - Muhle '11 R41
    Blade - Astra S/P
    Brush - Duke 3
    Soap - Monsavon
Cold Rinse/ Witch Hazel/ RazoRock Aftershave Wax

my Monsavon just arrived, so I used it with the 'Duke'.... bloody fantastic... this stuff was literally flying off my brush as I applied it to my face.... IMHO Monsavon is up there with 'The Fat'..... fantastic cushion, glide and protection... my face feels great. In fact I really enjoyed that shave!! Happy bunny.

This afternoon I found myself home alone with a few minutes of time. I quickly ran upstairs, ran the shower, warmed the scuttle and stropped the razor. Enjoyed a nice short, but hot shower preserving some water. Unlike Bill in DC, that slut Sandy knocked the crap out of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. Things are really horrible here for many folks, 4.3 million with no power. I feel blessed that all I lost was power. My heart goes out to all those who lost a loved one, a home or their belongings.

Anyway, I stole about 15 minutes so I wanted a really nice shave. Don't know when I'll get another opportunity to do it again.

    Hot Shower, Stephan's, oil
    Dirty Bird Scuttle
    Badger Brush
Mama Bear's Rose Shave Soap/AOS non Scented Shave Cream/Glycerin
Dubl Duck, Barber Supply Company, 5/8, Hand Forged,Ilium B&B Supply Co.Troy NY, Custom, Blackened Hammered Tang
    SRD P1 Strop 100 laps
    Razorock Aluminum
    Aramis After Shave
    Aramis After Shave Balm

I really enjoyed the shave. The lather was incredible and the razor was spectacular.

Movember is coming so I attempted my first full Shave. A little raw on the lip and a few weepers but ok. Proraso is taking care of the indelicate hand on my upper lip.

Shaving with facial hair is like a golfcourse. It's a challenge of rough and fairways. You are the skilled greenskeeper of your face?

First full shave here also. Went surprisingly well but nearly stopped up the drain (gotta make a mental note not to repeat that bit). I am surprised at how easy it was. Great shave!
