Pre: Hot Shower Nivea Face Wash, Nivea Face Scrub
Soap: La Toja Shave Stick shredded into a vintage Old Spice mug
Brush: Restored Dubl Duck "Barber's" Brush
    Scuttle: SWK XL
    Razor: Dubl Duck Goldenedge
    Astringent: Dickinson's Witch Hazel
    AS: Ta Toja

LONG day yesterday and second day of weekend call (Friday-Saturday-Sunday). REALLY didn't want to get out of bed, but was anxious to try La Toja for the first time. Soap performed superbly and the aftershave was just a delight. I'm having a lot of fun trying out new soaps and scents. I wish I hadn't waited so long to try a lot of the "classic" soaps and aftershaves. I regret I have but one face to shave! Have a safe and wonderful weekend.

    ROLL TIDE!!!

I have got to try this stuff some day, although I am not sure I would use it as an "ALL-over body splash."

    SATURDAY
Thanks to all for a week of great photos, Ideas, and Shave Secrets!

    Hot shower prep
    Soap: P-160
Mug: 1890’s silver plate two piece
    Brush: Horse hair
    Razor: GEM “Junior” Pat’d 1900
    Aftershock: none
    Splash: Bay Rum

Today I awoke to a dreary day of leaden skies and a foretaste of worse to come.
Best thing to do on a day such as this is to start it well! The GEM Junior is only as good as the re-honed blade; today ok! The p-160 is as usual persnickety! The Bay Rum in the old bottle is very pleasant!

The fun of trying things makes the day go a bit better and quicker!

    PS Twas a good shave!
