Razors seem to understand when they are unwanted so this is possibly a case of suicide. All kidding aside, that is a just plain ugly and painful happening. Sorry to see it.

    Pre - Alum block
Strop - 3 inch bridle leather with hard felt
Soap - Vitos Red and 1 drop lanolin
Brush - SOC 2 band badger
Razor - 6/8 Otto Busch Weltmeister (Thanks Jamie)
Post - Alum block followed by Thayers witch hazel

First shave with this razor and it was close and very smooth. Between that and it's good looks it immediately goes into rotation. Seems I am on a roll with another great shave this morning. Hope it continues, said while crossing fingers. Lets hope there are no more razor tragedies this morning either. Have a good one.

I'm so pleased you like the razor Bob, but after seeing it how can you not like it, and more importantly it's a nice shaver.

    Regards

    Jamie.

The lather was wonderful, and I did two quick passes leaving the face nice and smooth. The shave was outstanding!

I finished getting dressed, took the dogs out and went to put away the razor. That's where the day went down hill quickly! As I turned to the cabinet where I keep them, the razor slipped out of my hand. It hit the floor and I was left with this:

After seeing that Bill I didn't know If I should leave you a like or not, I'm sure your new replacement will bring a smile to your face.

At the risk of sounding dated.... That's a bummer, man!

It's pretty much impossible to avoid such mishaps, but they still make one want to say something like, "Oh dear me, I shall surely have to be more careful." Or something like that...
