Thanked: 154Attack of the "Lazies"
Woke up this morning especially sleepy and hobbling around like a Black Ops video game zombie. Thus, I was in the grip of an attack of the "lazies" when getting cleaned up for the day, and kept things simple:
Hot shower prep
Trusty Dovo #41, edge straightened by rubbing my thumb off it's keen edge
Small girly-scream at the first look in the mirror
Nivea Sensitive Skin Shaving Gel, thinned with a touch of warm water
One WTG pass plus touch-up
Art of Shaving unscented After Shave Balm
RSVP Eau de Cologne
The Nivea gel foams up like a rabid hellhound, and provided a good amount of cushion and slip. Not too bad for canned "goo."
Have a good one, fellas!
Jeff

Brush: Neep coffee bean brush
Razor: Bengall, Cast steel
Cream: Simpson
AS: Blue Floid, Italy
Strops: Neil Miller
Result: Uberclean
I think someone in Sweden re grinded a lot of these razors back in the days, for some reason I've found rather many here over the years and I think it's a to early razor for a full hollow ground... Very nice shaver, either way

The razor made it back from a fresh hone off Gary Haywood's La Veinette. Wiped away 5 days growth like it was not even there. A sublime shave!

Hot shower prep
Razor: GEM “Featherweight” ~50’s
Blade: GEM bulk “coated”
Soap: ARCO..face lathered
Mug: none
Brush: Ever Ready
Aftershock: none needed
Splash: Royall “Vetiver”
The little razor that could. Arco did its workmanlike job and protected my face from a very sharp and stiff SE blade. A close shave resulted and my face is smooooth! The Royall Vetiver did add to the joy of the BBS.
The fun of trying things makes the day go a bit better and quicker!
