    I LOVE MY WIFE!

    Pre: Hot Shower
    Soap: Dr. Gray's Bay Rum
    Brush: Panchetta 30 mm
    Scuttle: SWK XL
    Atrringent: Dickinson's Witch Hazel
    AS: Krampert's Finest Bay Rum
Timepiece: 1894 American Watch Company Pocket Watch

Special shave this morning. My private label soap came in yesterday and I had to try it out -- what a great shave!!! My wife also surprised me with my Christmas present -- a 1894 pocket watch. She found it at a locally owned jewelry store that has a large estate selection. She told me that she saw it and immediately thought of me. She said that she knew it would great in a SOTD photo -- what a great woman!!! I hope all my brothers have a good, safe weekend.

Thanks! She's a wonderful woman and I kind of felt bad after writing my SOTD because I love her for SO much more that just buying me a watch. I'm truly blessed more than I deserve. I just thought it was very special that she saw the watch and immediately thought of how good it would look in a SOTD photo.

    FRIDAY
    Hot shower prep
    Razor: Gem “Clog-Proof TTO” ~1930’s-40’s
Blade: Bulk Pack GEM coated industrials’
Soap:“Home Brew glycerin with bay rum”
    Mug: Face Lathered
    Brush: Semogue
    Aftershock: none
    Splash: Bert’s Bees “Bay Rum”

The Gem, while being awkward for my use, still did a bloodless removal of all things pretending to be hair. Two passes was all that was required! A simple soap does wonders when applied at the right moisture content. A bit dry today but still in the range. BB as a balm was a good call today. Awkward due to the heavy handle the Gem was forced to a more open angle but works best at a low angle like a straight.

The fun of trying things makes the day go a bit better and quickerer!

    Me+Whiskers (MWF+Hot Shower)/Gillette TTO + Derby Blades = DFS
From their stillness came their non-action...Doing-nothing was accompanied by the feeling of satisfaction, anxieties and troubles find no place
