Been a while since I last posted in SOTD. Currently in Shinjuku, Tokyo for 2 weeks. Great beautiful city. Been all over since the past one week and today I was hopping between museums around Tokyo. Just wanted to share some pictures I took in Tokyo Sword Museums and Tobacco & Salt Museum in Shibuya.

That box sold for 1500 Yen which I bought one; 2-3 pieces with the size of 1/4 of a thumb/box....there're 1/2 palm size ones, but I can't really recall how much....

    Brush: Simpson Chubby 2
    Razor: Dubl Duck Breduck
    Soap: GFT Sandalwood
    AS: Dr Harris Sandalwood
    Strops: Neil Miller

Can you say scary sharp, that's how sharp this Duck's. Very nice and smooth shave, but I did nick myself on the jaw and I didn't feel a thing but sure bled out some.

    Pre - Alum block
    Strop - 3 inch bridle leather/hard felt
    Brush - Semouge 1350 boar
Razor - Premier Cutlery Co "Premier King" 11/16
Soap - Cella+Kaloderma cream with 6 drops glycerin and 1 drop lanolin
    Scuttle - Robert Becker
Post - Alum block followed with Thayers witch hazel

First 3 pass shave with this razor for a close shave with some irritation. Got to work on my honing so back to the finisher for a few more strokes, I think. Gives that satisfying scritching sound of a full hollow, like my DDs. Not disappointed at all. Have a good one.
