12-08-2012, 05:28 PM #172SATURDAY with the PIPE of the Day
Thanks to all of you who have brightened my mornings and evening with photos, ideas, and wishes “sigh!"
Hot shower prep
Soap: Stroker’s Find
Mug: Coffee / Soup
Brush: Barbershop Badger
Razor: Wostenholm 5/8ths “PIPE” 1850-1890, horn scales
Aftershock: alum block
Splash: Bay Rum
Today: A beautiful, bright and sunny day after a mild snow last evening. Seems that PIPES keep coming my way, the fourth this last 30 days. Not from the ‘Bay either. This is another razor finished upon the Zulu hone. I received a satisfactory shave after a hundred laps on leather. More laps over time would continue to improve the edge.
The fun of trying things makes the day go a bit better and quicker!
