Another relaxing shave as we lead up to the holidays:

Let your attention wander and 'ouch', just a little off the corner of my mouth please...Haven't had a nick in at least a couple years, not bad, just didn't stretch the skin and paid for it. Even with that, a little styptic pencil and Voila! 3 passes and off to work with the great scent of the Vetiver finished with the Clubman and its a great day to be a man!

    Have a Great Thursday Gents!

BTW Carl your post had me laughing esp hard this morning! (Yes, I sound out the entire word or words in my head every time anything is abbreviated...only insane ppl don't, could that be you Carl???)

    Pre - Alum block
Brush - SOC 2 band badger
Soap - Cella+Palmolive cream with 6 drops glycerine and 1 drop lanolin
    Scuttle - Robert Becker
Razor - NOS Herders 77 Stainless 13/16 (Thank you Mainaman)
Post - Alum block followed by Thayer switch hazel

This is the first shave with this razor and it was one of the best, if not the best I have had so far. I did not strop the razor beforehand because I did not want to effect the edge that Stefan put on it with my stropping. The edge that Stefan put on it was very smooth and sharp with no hint of harshness that some say stainless razors have. I am extremely pleased with the edge and razor overall. Hope your shave this morning is as good or better.
