QCS Key Lime - Zebbra Wood Silvertip - Deramaix Frameback - Myrsol Emulsion

No picture today as I was in a bit of a hurry this morning. Too much of a hurry really, as for the third time in the last two weeks I managed to cut one of my fingers on this blade. Twice when honing it and this morning I somehow managed to do a bit of damage to my thumb as I was trying to close the razor. I felt quite stupid after it happened.

    THURSDAY
    Hot shower prep
    Soap: LIDER
    Mug: Face Lathered
    Brush: generic 22mm mixed badger
    Razor: Unknown Gillette DE
    Aftershock: alum block
    Splash: TARR
After last night's joy of redoing most of my online accounts, a good pleasant shave was in order.

Today: Very quiet, snowed last night and about 6 inches,150mm is on the ground. wind is picking up and driving will be no fun. The Shave: One of the most comfortable I have received from a DE! DFS in two passes and a touch. Very close with no abrasion. No sting with the alum block or the splash.
The fun of trying things makes the day go a bit better and quicker!

    Bright and Shining Thursday

Should be celebrated with a super shiny shave. Name: Shave.jpg

I have always said some of my best shaves come from some of the most well worn blades. This is one.
Diamondine Razor (love the Sea Serpent logo)
hand made glycerine soap applied straight from the bar and rubbed briskly into a lather with just my fingers.
Single Pass Xgrain for a nice smooth no irritation shave. (no 2 pass, as I roughed my skin up the day before with a lousy shave)
    Long Live the Shine!

Grant, I would never do anything like that...
