I was saddened today by the passing of a close friend and mentor. He was the father of three of my friends and I worked with him as a rookie cop. We called him "Pop" as a sign of respect since he was the senior officer. He taught me things you don't learn in the academy and when circumstances could not get any worse....he was at his best with a guiding hand. He taught me how to be compassionate, patient, kind, gentle and reasonable when appropriate. He taught me the other stuff as well.

    I'll miss him terribly.

Sounds great, also it will be my first boar-badger mix. Thanks a lot!

    12/26/12

    Hello all

    PREP: non
BRUSH: MINT Waterford Pure glass Crystal brush of substantial heft
SOAP/CREAM: Kiss My Face Moisture Shaving Cream
RAZOR: 15/16 Joseph Smith & Sons Celebrated Razor with an immaculate reputation for shaving well

    SHAVE: Full face

RESULT: After messing around with the 9/8 GB Anchor and the 8/8 WM Hargreaves I remember that I had a shave ready razor in the steel stables. The shave was pretty effortless. There was alittle tug around the chin but it's because I haven't perfected my technique. I was able to switch between hands but the left is jealous of the right hands ability. Still no cuts as it took me 2 times to shave my whole face. Knock on horn.

Best shave ever! I love the feel of my face.

Sorry to hear of your loss Jeff, he was obviously a great friend and valued colleague, and a great influence on your development as a young officer.
