    Pre - None
    Strop - 3 inch bridle leather/hard felt
    Brush - Semogue 1350 boar
Razor - Vintage Schulze stainless 6/8
Soap - Cella+Kaloderma with 6 drops glycerine and 1 drop lanolin
    Scuttle - Robert Becker

Another very smooth shaver and a fine shave from it. Darn good soap combo for an uber lather too which the 1350 whipped up well. All is good, hope yours is too.

    1OldGI,

Been there...Done that. Get well soon.

If you're coughing up green phlegm, however, you probably have an infection, which can lead to serious complications, ie. pneumonia. I would strongly recommend a visit to your M. D. for some antibiotics.

Well, like they say, you can't keep a good man down. Woke up feeling not 100% but at least 100% better than yesterday. Minus shave and shower yesterday I felt like I was absolutely filthy so a long hot shower and a good shave was just what the doctor ordered.

    SATURDAY
Many thanks for a week of Ideas, Photos, and shave style!
    Hot shower prep
    Soap: ARCO STICK (Turkey)
    Mug: Soup cup
    Brush: LIDER ( Turkey)
    Razor: Microtome
    Aftershock: Alum block
    Splash: TARR ( Romania)

Today; Weary; Dreary, and leaden sky. The Shave: Great, the big old one sider did a real number on my facial fuzz. Took a while to get it honed !!! The Arco was face lathered and the leftover bowl lathered. That is a BIG brush! It is stiff but not scritchy. The after wards were perfect for the shave!

The fun of trying things makes the day go a bit better and quicker!

    Speick ASB
    Penhaligons Juniper Sling

It was do or die time for this razor today, I have honed it 4 times previously and been frustrated with the shaves.
After the last shave I found the edge had crumbled near the toe
Today I put my heart and sole into honing this, I added an extra layer of tape and bingo I nailed it!
2 pass shave, it went through bristles like a Filly should. Lovely and smooth & the edge has held good. I am very happy today
