A super smooth BBS two pass shave, If I had to rate my razors the 'G TOWA T' would have to be in my top three maybe my number one?

    Thursday

A warmish day today, around 42ish, 45 is forcast for tomorrow. I offer these facts only to make you fellows in the colder climes jealous, or possibly thankful, as 45 is a bit on the hot side, even for me. I shall, however, still do a modified workout; I think I shall simply do pushups (3 sets of 25 with a minute and a half between ) and bench presses and leave it at that.

This morning’s shave was with the Burrell Top Flight; a noble hard working little razor with mundane scales. I’m considering new scales for him…

The C O Bigalow and Floïd went well together as always. After the shave I made a cappuccino type thing and boiled a single egg for breakfast.

On the way to work I checked out some boulders in some paddocks to see if I might climb them (I’m getting rather obsessed with this climbing palaver) however they were ‘over the fence’. It seems that almost everything in Australia is ‘over the fence’. It seems to me that other countries share their land a little more. In Australia if it’s not in a National Park it’s private property; with maybe one sheep to 20 acres….

I noticed you described your razor Carl as a male, now I also refer to my razor as a She, I wonder what others would think of these analogies we give our razors.

Yes it is a dictionary: A Sea of Words, A Lexicon and Companion to the Complete Seafaring Tales of Patrick O'Brian.

As a great fun of Patrick O' Brian novels, the book is a great help to the naval terms of 18th and 19th century.

I had a bit of a Sandalwood mood today, and I'm glad I did!

Yes. I considered that term as I wrote it. I wonder why that is? Maybe we could ask Freud? Ships of course are known as 'shes', cars often too, even rifles if one believes 'Full Metal Jacket' (great movie and great story it was based on (The Shortimers; I think).

Actually, I'm physically sitting here 'LOLing' as they say over this reply; thinking about the absurdity of conversing on the gender which we ascribe to our, um, razors.... Only here. This could happen only here...

[EDIT] it would be wrong of me to not mention it was of course a Kubrik movie; that guy is a genius. I really do love all the movies of his I've seen, I esp love the greys in Dr Strangeglove...Not that I'm a movie buff, I'm not sure why I've gone off in this massive tangent all of a sudden.
