Your Filarmonica in the photo is very pretty. Looks like a harp on the handle.
And no shave for me today.

Prep: 4 mile run and hot shower
Razor: 6/8 Dubl Duck Gold Edge
    Strop: Illinios 827
    Soap: Crabrtree & Evelyn Sienna
    Brush: AOS Fine Badger
    A/S: Pinaud Clubman

Result: I have been crazy busy lately with work and family, all good stuff. This was a very early shave as I had to go out of town for work. All the razors were touched up on the Naniwa 12k last Sunday, and the edge on this DD was incredible! BBS with little effort. No time for a picture, so I am using an old photo of this shave. Have a great Thursday!

    Default Lilac Vegetal

Mr. 1OldGI, I have been curious and on the fence about Pinaud's Lilac Vegetal for like a year. I noticed you've been using it lately. (although not today) Your past posts about it have pushed me over the edge so I ordered a bottle, should be here next week. Looking forward to finally trying it for myself and see what this stuff is like. I plan on posting it on SOTD. Anyway, thank you for the push.

    THURSDAY Eye Candy!
    No prep
    Soap: VdH
    Mug: Coffee
    Brush: Maestro “PURE BADGER”
    Razor: 9/16ths HAGOOD; St. Louis
    Aftershock: Alum block
    Splash: Bay Rum

Today: Bright, so far, 8ºC; gonna change! The Shave: The little brush from ' back when ' is a wonder. Its not a scrubber but will hold enough lather for a three pass. The little razor will be a dream. She repaid my clean up efforts with a nice but grabby shave. Some more time on the hones will cure that. Until I hone and clean off the crud, and really inspect one of the candy stripers I don’t know if cell rot has set in. I was lucky one this one!

I have not shaved with the TI in awhile with good results. Today was different for whatever reason. Post shave will be some Denis Johnson and enjoying the the beautiful weather in the Mid-Atlantic states. Feels like early spring not mid January.
