Prep: Hot shower + cold splash
Soap: TOBS Mr. Taylor shaving cream
    Brush: Custom Badger SilverTip 24mm
    Razor: SS 5/8 Dovo
    Shave: 1 pass WTG
A/S: Pinaud Clubman Virgin Island Bay Rum

I'm sad to add that this will probably be the last time I use TOBS' cream here at home. TOBS cream seems to dislike hard water and here in Milan we have a terribly hard water... The lather's performances are just terrible here, nothing comparable with the performance I get with the same cream when I visit my parents near Venice.
I'll ship the remaining bowl of TOBS Mr. Taylor to my brother on monday and I'll only retain the tube that I'll mix with cella or valobra in order to get a decent result. Techniques helps and I can shave pretty well with TOBS here, but it's not comparable at all with other soaps.

Just to give you an metric, if I can value TOBS performance to 9 at my parent's home, here in Milan I would only give it a 5...

    Prep - None
    Strop - 3 inch bridle leather/hard felt
Brush - Simpsons LE QE II Jubilee Manchurian
    Soap - LaToja stick
Razor - Premier Cutlery "Premier King"
Post - Alum block followed with Thayers witch hazel

Smooth and close cold water face lathered shave. The LaToja stick is another very good soap providing more then enough rich, thick and slick lather. The Manchurian just keeps getting better with each use, a real treat. The already good shaving razor is another whose smoothness improved after touching up with the Zulu Grey. Enjoy your Saturday.

    SATURDAY
    Hot shower prep
    Soap: P-160
    Mug: Belgian
    Brush: Vintage boar
    Razor: Eskiltuna “PHILADELPHIA” Importe
    Aftershock: not needed
    Splash: Barnängen, Stockholm Sweden

Today: Cold and blustery ~ -6ºC. The Shave: A wonderful performance by a little razor that could take on the big fellows. Very close shave in two passes. The spike did get my attention but no blood. P-160..I still don’t know about it but it is good for cutting off a little chip for the scuttles. The Barnängen is always a good call. Almost Oregano in scent.

Could you PM or post a pic of the word, I don't think you got it right (at least if it's Swedish, which it should be). Do you mean on the spine/frame part? Usually, on CV Heljestrand and EA Berg razors like that, it says what kind of steel was used for the razor... but it could be something else too, of course.
