It is a appreciation to Stuart Freeborn (he died february 5th 2013)
He has been referred to as the "grandfather of modern make-up design" and is perhaps best known for his work on the original Star Wars trilogy, most notably the design and fabrication of Yoda.

Shaving with facial hair is like a golfcourse. It's a challenge of rough and fairways. You are the skilled greenskeeper of your face?

Of course the original scales suck, but it's the steel that counts! :-)

I rescaled mine in white acrylic, used the originals as a pattern and the original wedge, the other one I have still has the original scales. And yes Dorothy, they do suck...
I've never actually up-pinned a razor, my handy man skills suck.

    Yours truly.

    Dorothy.

Do you want to talk about it? It's OK, let it all out, we're here to help and we won't judge you...

    Oh, and happy birthin' day!

    Friday evening
    Hot water prep
Brittain, Wilkinson & Brownell "GB" razor - Da Fat - Generic silvertip badger brush - cold water splash - Thayer's witch hazel - Floid asb - Hot towel - D.R. Harris Arlington as

With all these GB's flying around on Ebay, I thought it a good time to bring out mine, to mow down the three day stubble. A good shave although there was some slight tugging.
I've seen some great shaves this week and have found a couple of things that I want to try, so thanks once again gentlemen and have a great weekend!

    _Neck Shave Only_

    Merkur Slant/Feather

    Wee Scot

Mystic Waters Green Fairy Sample (almost gone and haven't been able to get it to work to my my liking. Even with fairly dry brush and loading for nearly 2 minutes. Ingredients seem great, sometimes first pass is good to great but then lather always falls apart, runs down my brush and face, and mildly gums up my blade edge.

Razorock AS Wax(I like it and don't mind the scent.
