That is what I have seen them called and call them also. There are other styles and blade fastening devices also.

A vingertop bomb was enough for 2passes BBS and plenty lather for 2 more passes.
Bomb oakmoss&bergamot /fine badge brush/razor timor bleu steel 6/8./ As Le Male/result BBS on two passes.
