Shaving with facial hair is like a golfcourse. It's a challenge of rough and fairways. You are the skilled greenskeeper of your face?

That is what I have seen them called and call them also. There are other styles and blade fastening devices also.
Martin started a thread about them here:history-jacques-lecoultre-au-sentier-switzerland
I learned a lot from it!

PS. only one more day of them!

    FRIDAY
    Hot shower prep
Razor: another MM&Co.... LeC blade #1
    Soap: D’Ameris
    Mug: 1970’s Japanese re-pop
    Brush: Boar
    Aftershock: none
    Splash: Barnängen

The Day? Gorgeous. The Shave? a good close shave in three. The cream is a good lather maker and the splash is great.
The fun of trying things makes the day go a bit better and quicker!

A vingertop bomb was enough for 2passes BBS and plenty lather for 2 more passes.

Bomb oakmoss&bergamot /fine badge brush/razor timor bleu steel 6/8./ As Le Male/result BBS on two passes.
