Happy Monday y'all! This morning's shave wasn't an especially satisfying shave, it was just a quick 2 pass DE shave to get rid of my weekend's growth (no pic...). The only redeeming thing about it was that it was my first time using a razor I just bought, an Above the Tie Titan, M1, and one of my favorite brushes, an M&F stubby size 1.

    Prep - hot shower
Soap - TBS Maca Root cream
Brush - M&F Stubby, size 1, blonde badger
Razor - ATT Titan M1, Merkur Super Platinum blade
Post - cold water, Kiehl's lotion
    EDT - Creed, Millesime Imperial

    Have a great week!
    Oscar

Today i honed the two kropps that i buy this weekend.
They give me easy a good edge and after honing follows a test shave...and Ohhh yes they are ready

    Naniwa 1000/3000/8000 and 12000
    Padlestrop whit chomium oxide.
And about 60 times on my leather strop.

Prep face wash whit hot wather
    MB Rose ice.
    Silvertip brush.
    2x kropp 6/8
    Bay rum AS
    Result smooth

    Tuesday

    Razor | Jernbolaget | Cream | O Melhor | After Shave | D. R. Harris Bay Rum

I hadn’t used the O Melhor cream for a while and due to the heat it had solidified somewhat in the tube but it still worked fine. The shave with the Jernbolaget was OK but not great. I’m sure the last time I used this razor I reported that its edge was excellent, and I DID note that my first stroke on the strop was a little rough; I think I may have rolled the edge a little. I think it’ll need 20 laps on the Shapton to bring it back.

I’m still recovering from a bad back so no weights today. In fact, I modified my desks with a stack of books so I could stand at the desk and use my computer. I simply built a stack and placed my keyboard on one pile and the mouse pad on another. I tilted the monitor upwards. It was quite effective.

The photo included Bailey’s picture he drew on the weekend of our family. Guess which one I am? Hint, I’m often grumpy…
