Castle Forbes' Cream
Captain's Choice Aftershave
Great three pass shave. Loving the Castle Forbes. However, I'm down to one razor now. Oh well, at least the razor is nice.Last edited by Mephisto; 04-07-2013 at 02:27 PM. Reason: Forgot ASL

Grandpa's old Electric always impresses me with its level of sharpness! Just a slight smile, and almost 100 years of patina. It's wonderful to have a classic that was well cared for its whole life.

I wish you all a week of close comfortable shaves and personal successes!
Hot shower prep
Razor: Jernbolaget
Soap: RazoRock original
Mug: Face lathered
Brush: Re-knottod
Aftershock: none needed
Splash: Botanicals for Men
The Day? overcast and warming >9ºC. The Shave? A great shave with a razor restored by a friend. The razor had been well renewed and all that was left to me was a honing..or two! The second time to the stones repaid the workman. The blade is about 9/16ths and does not take a second place to any I have for cutting power or smoothness.. RazoRock did its thing with normal comfort. The re-knotted (black Badger) brush is breaking in well and becomes more of a Joy with each use.
The fun of trying things makes the day go a bit better and quicker!
