Pre : Hot water, Kiehls facial fuel wash, Proraso pre-post cream
    Soap : Mitchell's Wool Fat
    Brush : Turkish "No.6"
    Razor : Gillette old type
    Blade : Derby
Post : Proraso pre-post cream, cold water, Nivea moisturising balm

    Finish : BBS

    Comments :
This razor's definitely aggressive. I've conceded the fact that it's not a "rare 7'O'Clock", the pins on it just don't match the pattern the "7'O'Clock" razors had. Nevertheless, I'm more than happy with it. If only I could put a date to it, but without a serial number or letter it's being difficult.

PREP - Lathered face and hit the strop, re-lathered before i shaved ( seems to work well )
    STROP - SRD Modular Paddle
    SOAP - Mikes / Pine & Cedarwood
    RAZOR - Ali's Blade / Tactical Damas 9/8

Always a pleasure using this razor, two passes and i was happy.
I started with an ATG on the neck and only needed a clean up on the 2nd pass WTG.

It was a rough day yesterday. It was also pretty warm. I opted for my grandfathers old razor, some Bigelow, and some Mitchum cool shock AS.

A very nice and relaxing shave. Off to work in the garden now. It's a good day for that. Not too sunny, not too windy, not too cold.

Awesome piece of steel Paul. When I saw that one on Cedric's pages I was blown away. Seeing it in this picture it's even better.
    The damas structure is amazing.

    PRE-SHAVE POST

This 7/8 Hart with Bocote scales was delivered yesterday, so I am going to shave with it later today, as is. Looks good so far, but I'll see what type of edge the artisan put on this blade. I usually use Williams Mug Shaving Soap when I use a razor for the first time, not sure why, but I may go with something else today. Some of you may know I have a 6/8 Hart with Cocobolo scales that I have bee using for over a year, and it is one of the finest shavers I have used. I expect this 7/8 will be just as good. Have a good Thursday!
