    Thank you Paul!
That's my only razor, which I have built the scales themselves. The blade has a nice sound. The service life of the cutting edge is significantly shorter than by my French.

    Senor Geezer,
Many years ago, I bought some after shave in a bottle just like the one you show in this picture. I picked it up in a haberdashery in Chico CA, and have never seen one like it since. To the best of my recollection, the after shave was "Barbershop" brand. I always liked the looks of the bottle and it worked out so well with the "just the right size" hole in the spigot in the top. Do you, or anyone else who may read this know where I could find one?? Mine has been MIA for years, I'd love to find a couple of them.

    Take care, Don

    Tuesday

Razor | De Pews | Cream | Body Shop Macca Root | After Shave | Tabac

Great shave with the De Pews, as I manoeuvred it over my face I contemplated how the curved tang facilitates the use of the heel; as it removes the possibility of the thumb barring the heel from contact. This is a good thing, as I use the heel around my goatee thingy.

Music on the drive to work was Alice in Chains (Jar of Flies album again) and also Jane’s Addiction (Kettle Whistle).

Lunch time workout was astonishingly vigorous. Timed supersets of pushups, leg work and chin ups, with only 1 minute between supersets, no rest between exercises. I did this in 32 minutes:

    Superset 1

Pushups, touching nose to floor 30, 30, 25
Step ups on box 1.5 mins 1.5 mins, 1.5 mins
Wide Grip Chin ups, chin over bar, straight arms, over hand grip 8, 8, 8

    Superset 2

    Pushups, feet on box 25, 25, 17
    Leg Press 85k 20, 20, 20
Medium Grip Chin ups, chin over bar, straight arms, over hand grip 7, 7, 7

    Superset 3

Bodyweight dips, chin to bar 9, 9, 9
    Leg Curls, 50k 10, 10, 10
Close Grip Chin Ups, chin over bar, straight arms, under hand grip 6, 6, 5

Very relaxing evening shave. Had the day off from work and this was the perfect way to cap it off. I'm really becoming a huge fan of these Prairie Creations soaps. I haven't touched my beloved Tabac in over a week. These definitely take a bit more work to lather up than the Tabac, but the feel and scent are just phenomenal.

    Have a great one, gents.
