Friday morning:
L´Occitane Cade Shaving Soap
Rooney Silvertip
Puma 52 6/8
Tüff sensitive Aftershave
Bleu de Chanel EdT
Thanks for the interesting shave reports and the great pictures!
My coming shaves are more "hardship shaves". A Slant, a synthetic brush, a Wilkinson Stick. Not necessarily that what makes fun.
We travel with friends and our children a week-long kayak down the river Elbe. Without destination. As far as the water carries ...
A great week gentlemen!>Jean

No pics, but this afternoon I had an excellent mentoring session with a senior SRP member, and the topics ranged from honing to stropping, to shaving techniques, to just showing off razors and hardware and software. I learned a TON, and at the end of the day (with some instruction), I refreshed a vintage blade of mine on my norton 4/8 and then shaved with it, and man! 2 pass, super smooth shave, on my first honing experience. (Solingen blade, SRD opus X face lather, not much else...) The shave was great, but the company and mentorship made the whole experience a complete pleasure.
Be well gents!Last edited by RMarsh; 05-17-2013 at 05:26 AM.

I was curious so I checked it out on Google Earth. It looks like the water makes it to the North Sea! Depending on where you start, that could be a heck of a trip!! As already mentioned, have fun and be safe!!

Thanks for the good wishes!
Yes that's right. But we start off in the upper reaches of the river and the range of a week with children is perhaps a hundred kilometers. The Atlantic is thus no real challenge for us. This is Germany and left and right of the river are cities with history and many attractions. The children should also learn something on the way. Of course, we are careful, but it´s not dangerous.>Jean
