This is one of my wedgiest razors. Not quite a full wedge, but awfully close. It's an absolute pain to hone, but once it's dialed in, it's like a silent whisker assassin.

    Have a great week, everyone!

It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

    Monday morning:

    Valobra Shaving Stick
    men-ü synthetic brush
    R. Texcier, Paris 6/8 Acier Suedois
    Floid Suave

This razor is really good! The blade have a very long lasting sharpness and the steel is very hard. The black horn scales are a tactile delight. I think it's about 80 years old. A simple but beautiful razor.

    Have a nice day!

    Scuttle: Schwarzweisskeramik
Razor: Joseph Rodgers 'Real Olde English Razor' 6/8" near wedge
Brush: Simpson's Chubby 1 Best Badger
Cream: St James Cedarwood & Clarysage
    Astringent: Osma Alum
Aftershave: St James Cedarwood & Clarysage

Notes: Pretty effortless and reasonably close. I liked the shave but used too much pressure to try and achieve a smoother result. Quite forgiving though as wedges tend to be.

I found this razor Saturday at an antique store, stropped it and got a great shave Sunday with it, but thought the edge could go a little more, and boy did it. 20 passes on the Naniwa 12k and 30/30 linene leather SHABING! 3 pass shave for the books and I am smooooth!

Lukewarm Shower, Imperial Extra Hollow Ground, VDH Boar, Mitchell's Wool Fat, Aqua Velva Classic, Murray and Lanman's Florida Water, Murray's Australian Bees Wax

All day and half the night cram session yesterday, not even time for a shave. Naturally the day after a skip is the best shave ever. I feel like a human being again. As ready as I'm likely to get to start a new week. Have a great Monday.
