Haven't posted in a while, but I've got a few new razors added to my tiny collection. This was an Ebay score from a couple of weeks ago. I spent all of yesterday perusing the SRP wikis, lapping a new 4k/8k with 400 grit wet/dry sandpaper, and learning how to hone using the pyramid. I must have done something right because the shave this morning was very, very smooth and comfortable.

Very beautiful photos this morning, guys. Enjoy the rest of the weekend!

    Prep: L'Ocitane Verdon Facewash
    Prorasso pre shave
    Brush: Fitzwilliam Pure Badger
Lather: Super lather - GFT Eucris soap and cream
    Razor: Joseph Rogers 6/8 with
    Post: GFT Coral skin food
    Cologne: GFT Eucris

I got this Joseph Rogers razor off ebay, hone wear looked light and aside from some rust it looked ok. It took me about four attempts to get it shave ready, after the third attempt I decided to bread-knife it (after reading one of Glen's posts - thanks Glen) I almost sold it as it seemed that the hollow grind just did not suit my beard, but it shaves nicely now so I decided to fit some TI Olive scales and lose the plastic ones... The balance is spot on now too so plan to keep it. Got a really smooth shave today, the blade is still more noisy that any other one I own but kind of cool to hear the hairs being mowed

Welcome to the world, Riley Cole Newton! Congrats!

It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.
