Yesterday's straight shave was wonderful and to be completely honest, this shave was probably not even required, I did one pass just so I didn't look like a homeless man around lunch time
The older I get, the better I was

    Travel shave:

    Thanks Jamie!
Asked out of curiosity: What a stone do you use as a finisher?

Please do not! It was my intention to make them happy ...
I am glad of course if the pictures are well received and my basic recipe also betrays: With bad mood photos do not make. There also helps no full format sensor and also no still so expensive photo equipment.
I look forward to your pictures and shave reports.

    Hi Jean,

I use a Naniwa 12K finisher, but I also use a rather long pasted bench strop, pasted with chromium oxide and then the usual linen and leather stropping, here's my finishing table strops close at hand.

Prep: hot shower and proraso green
    Strop: Kanayama
    Brush: Rooney Super
    Cream: Proraso Red
    Razor: Puma 88 5/8
After-shave: Dominica Bay rum followed by emu oil

I truly believe my Kanayama strop brought the edge of this puma to a level it has never attained before. A superb one pass shave.
