    Joe,

It's cooling like Proraso, but Floid Blue's fragrance is more like a sophisticated Aqua Velva--not Proraso. I like to use Floid Blue during the summer months.

Fragrance-wise, however, I prefer the Floid Genuine and the the Suave more. They both have a talcum powdery barbershop fragrance.

BTW...If you decide to get the Floid Blue, you may want to consider purchasing some Vifrex aftershave gel too. It compliments the Floid Blue's fragrance quite well.

    Pre : L'Oreal face wash
    Soap : Tabac
    Brush : Progress Vulfix 404
Razor : 1920's Gillette "old type"
    Blade : Personna
Post : Homemade lime scented balm

    Finish : BBS

    Comments :
Day five of "Getting to know the MWF soap". Again, the lather was thin and watery, regardless of the brush having every drop of water shaken from it, and the shaving bowl having only residual water in it. Regardless of how much whipping it got, the lather never really got being visible bubbles, it certainly never reached the meringue-like state. This mass of bubbles was dumped, the brush was washed out, and I reached for the Tabac. Within minutes, the Tabac produced a lather that I was wanting from the MWF - thick and meringue-like. Thankfully, the Semogue 620 seems to like MWF, otherwise I'd be considering getting rid of the soap.

Yep. There's only so many times one can photograph shaving setups, without new material. It's time to go looking for more intriguing angles.
